Akuffo Addo's statute in takoradi destroyed

 Recent reports confirm that Akufo Addo's statue in Sekondi-Takoradi has been completely destroyed.

 This is not the first instance of vandalism, as the statue's leg was damaged on December 16, 2024, but subsequently repaired.

 It seems that some individuals delayed their actions until Akufo Addo left office, the identities of the perpetrators are unknown; however, sources suggest that a group of angry youths destroyed the statue at dawn. 

The reasons behind this act are unclear, but the statue's installation had generated mixed reactions from locals, with some considering it a misplaced priority.
